Join us on Sunday, October 31st, 2021 from 12pm-5pm for St. Pete's 2 MILES of Halloween trick or treats, activities and other vehicle free entertainment on the spine of St. Pete, Central Avenue! And, of course, make sure to stop by Grassroots Kava House. ALL kava and kratom will be 13% OFF and you'll have a chance to sit down with Lars Arts to get a spooky and funky caricature portrait! Most importantly, a portion of the day's proceeds will be donated to CASA. CASA is a neighbor and a cause close to our hearts. Let's put an end to domestic violence. Halloween on Central is a HUGE family-friendly event encompassing 22 blocks of Central Ave. through the EDGE District and Grand Central District. All of Central Avenue will be closed to vehicle traffic from MLK St. to 31st St., so that everyone can explore, CAR-FREE, the full streetscape of wonderful businesses, public art, historic buildings, and other amenities Central Avenue offers! See more about the benefits of a Car-Free St. Pete!

Come check out the incredibly talented work of Austin Palmisano at his dedicated Art Show, Backdoor Window, on August 14th upstairs at Grassroots Kava House St. Pete. He'll be featuring several of his original pieces that will be available for purchase. We've lined up live music with HolySci, Anthony Stran, and Cameron Dorsey. Join us to support our local artists!!

Join our friends from WEFA St Pete & Conscious Bodyworks for a taste of the Wim Hof Method with an ice bath experience outside of Grassroots St. Pete. You'll see it all set up under our tent. There will be a suggestion donation for participating. Bring of change of clothes and hope to see you there!

Deals, drinks, and drag! Between the blocks of 500 and 1100 on Central Ave from 1pm-7pm, over 30 small businesses are locking arms to celebrate PRIDE. All are welcome and it's FREE! Grassroots will be hosting a performance by the esteemed Drag Queen, Tora Himan, starting at 5pm. We'll be brewing up a special drink, Taste the Rainbow, which can be served with kava or kratom. Plus, PRIDE shirts will be on sale with the option to glam them up! Grassroots will be donating 10% of our sales throughout the event to METRO LGBTQ Welcome Center.
