Anna Dean is a professional arts administrator and musician, skilled in both the administrative aspects of the arts and the captivating artistry of violin and fiddle playing. Originating from Mississippi, Anna's musical journey began with classical violin training, which later evolved into a passion for fiddle/folk-fusion. Her unique musical style blends Celtic melodies with Latin rhythms, infusing bluegrass ornamentation with soulful blues. Anna actively seeks opportunities for growth by attending music festivals, recording sessions, and participating in tours and large gatherings. Throughout the Southeast, she collaborates with various bands, including her role as the electric and acoustic fiddler for Sandujazz. The main objective of this project is to explore the dynamic relationships that exist between different genres of world music, with a focus on uncovering similarities and fusing cultural concepts. Throughout the concert, the intention is to take the audience on a captivating musical journey, traversing a diverse range of genres that may include American, Celtic, Brazilian, Colombian, Cuban, Central American, and African influences. This performance promises to challenge the musician while delivering a truly unique fusion of music, offering the audience an extraordinary experience that is seldom encountered elsewhere. Erin Jo is a unique and energetic Singer Songwriter from St Louis Mo and Austin Tx. She plays fiddle and guitar with energy, and sings with raw emotion. She is passionate about connecting through music and entertaining everyone!

FEB 3rd at 6pm is our 7th Anniversary Celebration! The number 7 represents fullness in life and we can positively say the past 7 years have fulfilled us in more ways than we imagined. The communities who have grown and strengthened at each Grassroots Kava House is simply sensational, and we want to celebrate YOU and the support you've shown us for 7 years. We will hold the celebration at our OG location of Grassroots Kava House St. Pete and our goal is to raise $3,000 for 50 Legs. 50 Legs is a non-profit near and dear to us. They gave our very own, Claire Bridges, the chance to walk, run AND CLIMB again, and we want to pay it forward! A comedy show with host, Vinnie Ward, and headliner, Matt Fernandez, starts at 7pm, then live music with Pete Henry at 8pm. It's FREE ENTRY, but bring cash and be ready to raffle and silent auction your way to lots of gifts and prizes from our local community partners all while supporting 50 Legs!!

Jordyn Zentz, a Tampa Bay native and great friend of ours, offers a soothing mix of coffeehouse and soul. With her sultry renditions of popular songs, as well as original music, Jordyn is sure to set a lax atmosphere where everyone can kick their feet up for a bit, and relax.
